Intrigued by the world of cryptocurrencies, I embarked on an exploration back in 2017. Working for a crypto bookmaker, I witnessed the excitement and potential of this emerging industry. However, despite the opportunity to invest, I hesitated due to the lack of accessible educational resources and my limited understanding of the crypto realm. Little did I know that this initial curiosity would shape my future path.
The fight against centralization
Throughout my career, I had always been drawn to challenging centralization and monopolies. Initially, I worked for a small startup that aimed to disrupt the traditional banking sector. Despite our best efforts, we couldn't overcome the giants. It was during this time that I realized the potential of Web3, a decentralized paradigm that aligned perfectly with my values and aspirations. The fascination I felt for cryptocurrencies became the driving force behind my career decisions.

As fate would have it, an opportunity arose to join Key App, a non-custodial wallet project that was at the forefront of the Web3 revolution. Recognizing the importance of this career move, I eagerly accepted the role. It proved to be one of the most influential decisions I have ever made. Working as a design lead at Key App allowed me to merge my passion for design with the world of crypto, creating innovative and user-centric solutions. It was a pivotal chapter that solidified my belief in Web3's transformative power and fueled my determination to be part of this revolutionary movement.
Transforming knowledge into action
My Web3 journey extended beyond my day-to-day work. Embracing the opportunity to be heard and share my experiences, I actively participated as a speaker at conferences and podcasts. These platforms provided an opportunity for me to discuss the importance of user experience (UX) in the Web3 world and its impact on businesses and blockchain technology's mass adoption. Through these engagements, I aimed to inspire others and contribute to the broader conversation about creating user-friendly experiences in the crypto space.

In my pursuit of growth and innovation, I continually seek opportunities to expand my skills and knowledge. From conducting CustDev interviews and reviewing various Web3 applications to minting my own NFTs and participating in DAO governance, I have embraced a diverse range of experiences. These ventures not only deepened my understanding of the Web3 ecosystem but also fueled my passion for pushing the boundaries of design and shaping the future of user experiences.
